Lumigon Releases Smartphone Featuring Night Vision Camera

Danish smartphone maker Lumigon introduced a new device dubbed T3. The device is currently available in the US for a price of $740 (approximately Rs 49,500). It is the first smartphone to sport a night vision camera. Additionally, it has been designed in Denmark and has been crafted in “marine-grade 316 stainless steel”. It is dust and water-resistant as well. In addition to the classic versions, the T3 is also available in a gold edition with four different models.

In terms of specifications, the device sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display and Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz 64-bit MediaTek X10 octa core processor paired with 3GB RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the T3 features an internal storage of 128GB. It includes a fingerprint sensor too.

It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with dual tone flash, 4K video-recording along with a 5MP front facing camera. The night vision camera is an additional 4MP camera on the back. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi and NFC. The battery capacity of the T3 has not been announced.

“We wanted to create a new smartphone that reflects our design philosophy,” says Lumigon CEO Lars Gravesen. “The glass and steel used in the T3 are extremely durable, but that doesn’t mean sacrificing the look and feel of the phone. In fact, it provides a great balance between design, premium materials, innovation and technology.”
